I write software and spend an unreasonable amount of time wondering how things work.

My interests tend to wander around software, systems, security, protocols, algorithms, weird bugs, and the occasional completely unrelated rabbit hole.

I like finding the parts of a system that aren't obvious at first glance — the assumptions, the edge cases, the tiny details that quietly decide whether something actually works.

Sometimes that turns into code. Sometimes it turns into an article. Sometimes it just turns into a browser tab that stays open for three weeks.
